I. Business Purpose:

The purpose of The Collision Course Concerts Tour is to educate, inform and entertain the general consumer and college students about the music industry and how it affects companies, corporations and major labels. We also aim to expose career opportunities in the entertainment industry. This year we aim to increase the number of consumers and students we inform and entertain by selecting various universities throughout the country. Our tour will bring diversity and entertainment to the public while exposing major companies, labels, brands and products.

II. Market Situation

Our customers are in school or have recently graduated. Most may have an increase in their buying decision. We have no direct competition because we are the only touring company in our market. We set the standard in providing new and innovative techniques in breaking new artist. We are also known for aiding in the continued success of more established artists. Our business will expand rapidly with the partnership of major(s) sponsorship. Our tour can reach many more colleges and consumers than the previous years provided an increase in annual budget.

III. Goals and Objectives

• Goal #1: To lock in 10 locations for our 2025 Collision Course Concerts Tour by the end of November 2024. We will add and confirm these locations with specific dates.

• Goal #2: To obtain $80K in sponsorship from Independent, Major and Corporations by January 30th, 2025. Objective #1: Creating a detailed sponsorship proposal for labels by November 30th, 2024. To create a detailed proposal for corporations by November 30th, 2024, with tour information and timeline. Objective #2: To officially present marketing presentation of 2025 Tour to 4 Labels and 4 Corporations.

• Goal #3: To obtain sponsorship for 2025 Tour through Major Labels and Corporations by January 30th, 2025. Objective #1: Have a successful 2025 Tour with maximum turnout and positive publicity.

• Goal #4: To make 2025 Tour the beginning platform to for new careers and opportunities in the entertainment field.

IV. Definition of Market:

Our market consists of individuals 18-25 enrolled in a secondary institution or recent graduate of a high school or college. Most have an income less than $60K and are single with no children. A high percentage are youth who like to entertain themselves each weekend on a small budget but are faithful in purchasing music and attending entertainment events that involve the Hip-Hop Culture.

Our Collision Course Concerts Brand is one that is known for bringing something new and refreshing to the entertainment industry. One of the partners RockLan One is known as being “The Foundation Of The New Industry”. We will continue the Collision Course Concerts brand image at each event and college campus visited. People remember and trust our brand because it has been developed and grown from within the community. This gives our company a higher position in each of our target consumer’s mind, making our brand a Power Brand in the hip-hop community and individuals 18-25 with consistency. We offer a highly professional tour that gives each consumer a look at the newest talents, technologies and careers in our industry. Our offering is unique because of its structure and involvement of tastemakers and independent companies partnered with RockLan One Radio College Tour. We have insight of new trends and musical movements before they take off.

The purpose of our marketing communications is to convince students and consumers 18-25 that our product is the most influential and respected system for informing consumers of new artist, technologies and careers in the music industry. We will prove our claim by having a minimum of 10 tour locations and visiting over 6 colleges and universities. Breaking new artists on each tour location, we also expose our sponsors to over 400,000 urban youth with an aim of obtaining new consumers for our sponsors. The mood and tone of our communications will be filled with excitement and anticipation, reflecting the manner in which our consumers interact with each other starting with an intense social media campaign.

IX. Marketing Strategies

• Product Strategies

We will aggressively use our products of new artist, educational seminars and product giveaways to develop customers and sales. We will also introduce products like Merchandise, Direct Music Downloads and multi-media platform like Magazines in this development process. Ideally our product will be packaged but available individually and digitally.

• Distribution Strategies

Each product and packaged products will be delivered to the customers in their home school or environment. However, upon our departure we will partner with other businesses to continue our efforts and maintain our presence. Websites, iTunes and other digital retail outlets will play a major role in this strategy due to the digital age we live in.

• Pricing Strategy

A new payment option will be implemented for sponsors giving them adequate time to ensure their involvement with our Tour. Products for sale at each event will be priced for college students to ensure high volume of sales. Our websites and digital retail outlets will be ready for product purchasing.

• Promotion Strategy

Our product promotions campaign will begin November 30th, 2024, and increase each month giving awareness of each tour location and partner involvement as they are added to our tour schedule. Once a partner or sponsor is added, promotional material will be sent to our consumer base. Our campaigns 2nd Phase will consist of promotions to potential sponsors and consumers through internet marketing, sampling and video packaging.
